| Dave Scott has been a musician since the age of 7. He has spent most of his life playing guitar and song writing. At the age of 14 he started playing in local clubs and within a few years started earning a living as a guitarist. At the age of 17, he had his first record, "Tuff Luck", released on New Renaissance Record Label. It sold over 50,000 copies. During this time he was featured in many National Publications such as, "Guitar Player", "Guitar for the Practicing Musician" and "Guitar World" magazines, just to name a few. In 2002 Dave moved to the Los Angeles area to expand his career. He spent his years there working on projects with several great musicians. Non-Toxic, a project with the late great, Tony Thompson, drummer of Power Station, David Bowie and many others. He recorded CD and played live shows with vocalist, Matt Kramer of Saigon Kick. He co-founded a project, Martyr Plot, with drummer, Ginger Fish of Marilyn Manson. As part of the Los Angeles based group, The Forward, he and the band recorded their debut CD, which was released in August of 2008. From this debut CD, 5 songs were licensed and played on major network television shows. Currently he has returned to Florida. Dave has opened a new chapter and is now playing guitar with "The David Shelley Band". |
